A Word from the Lord: When the moon is out It is evening, and the beauty of the sky is revealed. Only night can reveal the stars to your eyes. Only night can help you to see the wonders of the heavens, so it is with My children. Through the darkness the beauty will be revealed. As you walk with your brothers and sisters, and as you hear their afflictions, their hurts, you begin to see their beauty. Beauty of the flesh is in the eyes of the beholder, but beauty of the soul is in the eyes of the spirit. See with spiritual eyes My children for this is the beauty of the Lord.
In 1937 author Carolyn Wells wrote "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." We see this statement holds true by the ones we are drawn to for their beauty. We all see beauty differently, and that is the way that God made us. On my journey in life I have noticed that when I sit and talk with someone and learn more about their life, their disappointments, their victories, it has opened up their beauty to me. When I see what a person has walked through in their life I begin to see the beauty that radiates from the inside.
Beauty will one day pass away from this fleshly body. But the beauty of our spirit will live on forever. Through our hurts, our pain, our disappointments, we have become the people that we are. If we walk on the mountain tops constantly, we would miss the beauty of the valleys. Our treasures are what we hold on to, because we know we could lose them in a moment of time. We could never truly appreciate our treasure, whatever that may be, unless we could see the pain of losing it.
Your everlasting beauty comes from within. Beauty is in the eye of our Beholder, our God, our Savior, our Creator, and He says we are beautiful in His sight.
