Dream 3/31/15
Going to Heaven
I was with my mother, sister and a few other family members, and we are at a yard sale in the front of a house. Everyone is just looking and buying a few things. I really wasn't finding anything that caught my eye. Everyone else appeared the same as myself not really interested in much.
Scene 2: Now we are in a house. It is time to go to heaven. There is a man there and we are supposed to follow him because he’s taking us to the place where we will be taken up to heaven. Everyone is very excited. We follow him out of the house and across the yard. My sister, Debbie is racing with excitement. I think, I’m so excited I get to see Jesus. As we all are crossing the yard it appeared as it was like a work zone. Like a mechanic’s yard with multiple vehicles and people working on the broken down cars and trucks. I see a tow truck also, and we have to go around it. In front of the tow truck I see a woman talking to a man, and I knew that they were not going to heaven. I over heard the woman say to this man, “Oh he committed suicide.” As they were talking I knew it was true and that many were committing suicide. I kept going and although this made me sad in a way I was still very excited about going to heaven. We all had to climb over a low brick fence about waist high to get to the next area and this is where we would meet to be taken to heaven. I woke up.
My Thoughts: Selling and buying can represent soul-winning and redemption. Vehicles usually represent ministries. Broken down vehicles are ministries needing repairs. A tow truck would be helping those broken down get to a repair shop. The tow truck was unfortunately parked right there among the broken down vehicles. Suicide is, oppression/depression, hopelessness and wanting to give up.
Are we so busy thinking about going to heaven, that we walk right through the broken, and those in need of repair on our way to heaven? Many ministries are hurting right now, and the people in them are hurting. I'm excited to see Jesus and go to heaven, but there is much work to be done.
Sisters and mothers in dreams many times represent, "The Church." As individuals in the church we can easily find ourselves not interested in very much going on in the different ministries. Without support and encouragement ministries can become broken. Ministries can also forget the very reason they are in ministry!
My message yesterday was titled, "I Heard He Was in the House!"
In Mark 2:1,2 it reads, And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.
Jesus tells Simon and Andrew in the first chapter of Mark: “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” [NKJV] and in the New Living Translation it stated as, Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people." Mark 1:17
I believe Jesus's number one priority was to preach salvation, and show us how to become fishers of mankind. When others see that Jesus is truly in the house, rooms will not hold the masses. I know we all get busy in "ministry." We can easily lose our way as we prepare and look forward to going to heaven, and seeing Jesus, but I don't want to walk past the broken down ministries and the lost on my way.
Look at someone today through the eyes of the Holy Spirit that lives in you, and see them as Christ sees them. It changes ministries, and it changes us!
Is Jesus in the house in your life and in your ministry?
