This morning as I was praying and thanking my Father in heaven for accepting us with all our failures and weaknesses, and praying He would open the eyes of His people in this nation to truly see Him, and His glory, I saw a wooden barrier around me. I pushed it off with my arms and saw it fall and crumble in pieces.
Wood stands for fleshly works, our own earthly effort. These are things we do from ourselves and not from and through the Spirit.
I believe we act and react from our flesh most of the time. The Lord is trying to help us act and react by the Spirit. He can get done in a second what it would take us to do in our flesh a lifetime, and many times we do not see it come to pass at all.
I want to learn to walk more and more in the Spirit of my heavenly Father and less and less in my flesh. If ever there was a time we need to fight in the spirit realm it is now. If ever there was a time we need to realize we have to fight from the level of heaven, and not the level of earth as Christians it is now. Many of us have fought from this earth and have been getting the stuffing beat out of us.
I'm ready to start winning battles! To do this we must fight from the heavenly realm. On our knees; on our faces these are good starting points.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
I hope to see you today in the heavenly realm!
