Psalm 79:8 Do not hold us guilty for the sins of our ancestors!
Let your compassion quickly meet our needs,
for we are on the brink of despair.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation!
Help us for the glory of your name.
Save us and forgive our sins
for the honor of your name.
10 Why should pagan nations be allowed to scoff,
asking, “Where is their God?”
Show us your vengeance against the nations,
for they have spilled the blood of your servants.
11 Listen to the moaning of the prisoners.
Demonstrate your great power by saving those condemned to die.
I feel this is us today in this generation. Terrorists are killing and persecuting our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our sisters are enslaved, raped and tortured. Men, women and children are being murdered and sold as sex slaves. Horrible things are happening! We here the United States may not see this persecution happening, but it is, and our Father in heaven has heard their cries.
Today He has heard the cries of His people. His hands hold every prayer, every tear and every drop of blood. These prayers and tears run over from His hands dripping onto the very throne-room floor. Hear what the Lord is saying today: Disaster is coming to those that have ravished, raped, and killed His children.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Lord Help us to be over-comers. Here in the United States we are blessed far beyond what we even know. I ask today, "What can we do to change this course of destruction for our brothers and sisters in Christ?"
If anyone ever knew suffering, Jesus did! God in the flesh!
