What a day yesterday was!!! Comey testifying and then tragedy strikes Dallas. This morning to read 5 officers dead is just so heartbreaking! We grieve for those families that have lost their loved ones, both the officers and those lives taken by our officers. It is a sad, sad day.
It has been prophesied by myself and others that civil unrest will continue to grow. A revolution is here. We see the government suppressing the news and filtering what is being reported. We see our rights being stripped from us a little each day as Americans. We see our constitution being trampled on by the very ones that are in office to protect our constitutional rights.
There is so much going on we cannot keep up with it all! Confusion and chaos is here and rising each day. We do not have time to grieve over one tragedy before the next one hits. I just want to encourage you today. We are still to be the light to the world as true Christians. We are still to be the salt of the earth as true Christians. We cannot let the deceiver pull us into his schemes and take our faith, our hope, or our love for one another. The bible tells us of that deception.
Matthew 13:18-23 “Now listen to the explanation of the parable about the farmer planting seeds: 19 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts.20 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. 21 But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. 22 The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. 23 The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”
This is a sad day for America. I pray you can reach out and radiate hope to those around you in these days of grief.
Lord we pray for our nation to return to YOU! Open eyes to see and ears to hear the truth in these days of pain, hurt, and confusion, and not turn from You, but turn to You! Amen
