We lie down in our shame, for we have sinned against the Lord our God. We and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God. Jeremiah 3:25
A word from the Lord: Your path is a solemn one; one that will be intimate with Me; one that will look to Me at all times for all reasons. Solemn because of the love you will have for the lost, dying, neglected, hurting and sick. This is a great burden to bear, remember to lay down your burdens at My feet and I will carry them for you. Many times of rejoicing will take place but sorrow is filling My heart as I see this world turning to itself. As you read today in My word so is it today. Jeremiah faced what you see today. Weeping is a part of the ministry; hurting for others is a part of the ministry. Hold fast to what you know and believe. Do your part and see the changes take place. Watch as My people united will do much for those that will come. My supply never ends, it never ends; I have enough remember this; it never runs dry. Look to Me and I will supply all your needs. Reach out as never before and point them to Calvary, I am waiting here for them; I long for them; I reach for them; I run to them, so must you.
My thoughts: Have you ever thought of how serious God’s work can be? When we are out looking for areas we can be of service, we will find much hurt, pain and destruction around us. When we are watching the television and seeing starving children, we can change the channel. When we watch or listen to the news and all the devastation, we can turn it off. But when we are servants of Christ we get out in the streets and in the highways and we can’t change the channel or turn them off. That is where our God is and calls us to be.
