I would like to share my dream with you I had yesterday.
My Dream 8/15/17
Wedding
My husband and I are at a wedding for one of our step-daughters. We feel very out of place. We did not really want to be there, and I felt like no one really wanted us to be there, but because we were family they felt obligated to have us, and we as family felt obligated to go.
The wedding was not a typical wedding. It was very unusual. We are at the facility where the ceremony is to take place, yet the bride was still picking out her dress. There was no color everything was grays and blacks. Even the lights in the room were dim. As we are waiting and watching for the wedding to start previous brides that had their weddings at this facility were coming out and showing all of us and the bride their gowns they got married in. They were all very bizarre and gloomy. They were different shades of grays and blacks. The one I really remember was a gray dress with large black chains as straps across the shoulders.
Everything was very chaotic and confusing. My husband and I just wanted it done and to leave. Now through all this confusion our step-daughter could not decide if she really even wanted to be with the groom. The wedding never took place. It was canceled because of all the chaos, confusion and indecision if the bride even wanted the groom anymore and to get married. I do not remember ever seeing the groom. We left. I remember my husband and I being in our car and driving away. I woke up.
This dream is quite obvious to anyone who reads it of the interpretation. If you have been a Christian for any length of time we know the Scriptures speak of "The Church" being the bride and Jesus Christ being the groom. Just knowing those two representations can give us a picture of what this dream is saying.
A white wedding dress represents: standing in righteousness, and purity. These dresses are not white and the bride is confused if she even wants to be the bride. Many churches today are so confused on what the bible says, or they don't like what it says. It doesn't fit their agendas, rather political, or lifestyle, so they simply change and twist the Word to their liking.
This saddens me, but it is a wake up call of the condition of many churches today. Make sure you are in a bible believing church! One that teaches the moral standards of what is written in its pages. We may not be able to explain every single passage to someone's liking, but the truth is the truth, and lies, deception, and deceit do not change the truth!
Gray represents ill-defined, double minded, and being lukewarm. Would a groom want a bride that didn't know if she wanted Him?
Revelation 3:14-22 [The Lukewarm Church]
14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’” [NKJV]
