Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21
A word from the Lord: I say to you today, walk this way. I have called you this way, unto man I have called you; unto the hurting I have called you. You limit yourself but I do not limit you, because you are Mine, and I give you strength, ability and stability to be a rock to others. Your love is My love; your pain is My pain. We are one.
My thoughts: Looking at our human side, I had to wonder, could this be true? Could I ever meet the expectation of my Lord? The answer is really quite simple. No. He fully understands this even though we do not. Calvary happened because of us. The New Covenant took place because we could not meet the Old one. Jesus gave us His robe of righteousness, pure and white, and He took our robe of filth and rags.
When He took that robe, He knew He would have to pay the price now, not us. He would have to endure Calvary and all the punishment that went with that crucifixion, not us. He took it anyway and now in covenant we become one, His strength for my weakness; His holy nature for my sinful nature; His peace for my turmoil; His faithfulness for my faithlessness. He became one with me anyway.
He asks for our love, loyalty, and commitment to Him. He asks for us to let Him use us as vessels to give His love unto His creation.
I say yes. I shake the limitations off of myself and choose to keep my eyes on you Lord.
What do you choose?
