Time, it is amazing when we look at time. I can remember when I was in a crisis in my life, and I so desperately needed time to stop and let me catch my breath from several losses very close in my family. But time keeps ticking away. Life continues, the world goes on, and bills are still due. You must still work to make money and all you need is time just to stand still.
You feel like time it will never come to an end when you are young. You hope for things in the future to hurry and arrive, but as time continues and age enters the picture you reevaluate that type of thinking. It seems many of us are either living in the past or trying to hurry to the future, but really we should stop living in the past, and we also should not only live for the future. We need to look at today. Several great questions to ask ourselves is, why am I here today? What do you have for me to do today Lord? We can miss so much in life because we cannot see today.
The Lord has promised to take care of us and we continue to worry ourselves into health issues. Our bodies are breaking down from stress and worry. If we are in covenant with God and we are one, then we should be able to hear what the Spirit is saying and follow His instructions. If we will open our eyes, ears and hearts to His instruction, we will have our every need supplied.
In these uncertain days it is exciting to know for certain one thing, and that is, we as Christians can trust God is for us and not against us. We can slow down and look at today, and what we need to accomplish.
Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Romans 8:28, 31 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
