As we see microchips begin to be placed in humans in the news, and all the technology that is being used in this world to know everything about us, it can get confusing about what is the mark of the beast and what is not.
I remember the first time I saw an advertisement for a chip to be placed in dogs years ago, so they could be found and placed back with their families if lost. I immediately thought how this sounds good and will do a lot of good, but I could also see how this could lead to humans, and continue on to the mark of the beast. It wouldn't be long and we would hear of talk about putting chips in our babies at birth and how this could prevent abductions. Sounds so easy and helpful.
I can also remember when they had a big news story where the first family would be chipped for medical purposes. The family, the medical staff, and the news reporter were all very excited. The chip now can be placed in humans to give medical information to hospitals on the arrival of a person that may be unable to tell them their medications they take and allergies. Sounds so wonderful!
The economy around the world is in trouble. As looking to a one world government, and a cashless society, we see it beginning with solutions that sound good. If we are not carrying cash, we are less likely to be robbed. If we are not carrying cards, we are not going to lose them and they cannot be stolen.
Walking into the store today and swiping our cards is so convenient. We rarely have cash anymore. Now we can hold our phones up to the checkout indicator and we do not have to even take our cards out. Most all of us seem to have a phone in hand at all times anyway.
Revelation 13:3b All of the world marveled and followed the beast.
When I am training someone to perform ultrasounds I know they must repetitively do scans to know what is normal, and in that they can pick up abnormal very quickly to refer for immediate care. The same is true in understanding what the bible says. If we are regularly studying the scriptures we can see truth much quicker from deceit.
The world will be amazed at what the anti-Christ is able to accomplish. The dragon [Satan] comes as a angel of light. He gives the beast authority and power to perform amazing things. In a world of trouble and chaos he will give false hope and peace. He will not be the true Christ or savior.
We know that Christ will come back from the way He ascended, because the bible tells us what to look for in His return.
Acts 1:9-11 Jesus Ascends to Heaven
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
We know Christ's return will be as He left. He ascended up into the heavens and He will return descending from the heavens.
'The Lord tells us in Scripture that there is going to be tribulations.
Matthew 24:21-25
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
"I have told you beforehand." He tells us of things to come, and what to watch for if we are looking to HIm for answers and not the world; if we are seeking HIm, and reading His holy Scriptures we will not be deceived.
This will not be easy! "For the elect sake those days will be shortened......false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible even the elect."
We cannot be deceived! We must understand the signs and the times, and be watching for those things that claim hope and peace but lead to destruction.
Revelation 13:16-18He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
When we are on the road to where we cannot buy without a mark, or chip or whatever they use in our hands, or foreheads, it is time to wake-up!
Wake-up Christians and see the handwriting on the wall.
Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord? Do you know what the bible says? It is never too late to wake-up, and see that deception is at each one of our doors knocking to come in, and it looks GOOD!
